The Aggrolites (US)
No slow high-five reggae for these loco's from South-California. Their greasy retro-rocksteady-rubadub-reggae sometimes sounds like a cracking album of James Brown. It swings all over the place, thanks to the deep Otis Redding voice of singer Jesse Wagner. Sixties soul in the mix with uptempo reggae? Like a sexmachine, man!
